This year Dorney Park is celebrating its newest roller coaster, Voodoo, which features dual spiraling towers in a U-shaped, suspended impulse coaster that propels its 28 passengers into a 90 degree vertical ascent up the forward spike only to freefall in reverse through the station. The linear induction motors kick in as the train gains speed and races up the reverse spike. The next pass forward through the station brings riders to a top speed of up to 70 mph as they head into the 184-foot helix. Once back through the station and up the reverse spike, riders fall 2,700 feet. Park guests must be a minimum of 52 inches tall to ride Voodoo.

Located in Allentown, Dorney Park is home to ten world-class roller coasters including Hydra The Revenge, the first and only floorless coaster in Pennsylvania. The park's other thrill rides include Thunder Creek Mountain, White Water Landing, Revolution, Dominator, Wave Swinger and many more. Families looking for a slower pace enjoy riding the antique carousel, Ferris wheel and Zephyr miniature train as well as playing around at Camp Snoopy and Tot Spot. On the Wildwater Kingdom side of the park, guests can experience two wave pools, 22 water slides, two winding rivers and the Aqua Racer water mat ride.

Dorney Park opens for the season on Saturday, May 3 for weekends only. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom open daily beginning Saturday, May 24. Admission includes access to both parks.
